‘Tree of Life’ is one of our own favourite creations. This original work was created with layers of acrylic and gold paint on canvas. We were inspired by an old oak in the forest and the unique power of Afro-American women. More specifically, the oak was a sacred tree in many cultures and represents strength, morale, resistance and knowledge. It’s our ‘Tree of Life’ which is also a reminder that you are not only connected to the world, but also to one’s family and ancestors!
